Ewer — Unknown

Found in the burial chamber of Tjetji, a vizier of the late Old Kingdom, this ewer and its accompanying basin (26.2.12) may have have been used by the deceased during life for washing his hands and feet. In the tomb, they would have allowed Tjetji's spirit to cleanse itself before meeting the gods.
