Rattle — Unknown

This rodent-shaped rattle is one of a few surviving instruments of the Taíno people of the northern Caribbean, who were decimated by diseases introduced by the Spanish colonists. Possibly used for ceremonial purposes, it has four large wood pellets within its chamber.
