Rattle of gold-washed silver, hung with small pellet bells and crowned with bird forms. This rattle was shaken during the Zar, a therapeutic ceremony to contact a spirit that possesses a women. Drums are also used during the ceremony which is chiefly practiced in southern Egypt and the Sudan.
