Round Pitch Pipe — Unknown

This circular pitch pipe in the form of a pocket watch produces twelve major and minor chords and was used for organ tuning. Later pitch pipes with rectangular forms evolved into the harmonica. This transition took place in Vienna or in Trossingen, Germany, between 1827 and 1830.
