10-key Müller type that has been shortened. Impossible to determine if it was originally an Ab or a G clarinet. Overall size: 347 Technical description: Boxwood with German silver ferrules and keywork. Four pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, one-piece-body and bell. Unstamped blackwood mouthpiece grooved for cord. Very short bell, now not separable from body. Speaker liner projects ca. 4 mm into bore. Straight thumb rest. Wood recessed under C♯4/G♯5 lever. Metal saddle as guidance for F♯3/C♯5. Touchpiece for F3/C5 mounted directly on the keyhead. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throat A♮; throat A♭. L2: T. L3: T. L4: C♯4/G♯5; E3/B♮4; F♯3/C♯5. R1: T; side E♭4/B♭5. R2: T. R3: T; side B♮3/F♯5. R4: F3/C5; G♯3/E♭5. Keyhead type: modern. Keymount type: screwed-in pillars with push pins. Inscribed on body with flower / "BREVETÉ" / crown / STENGEL / BAYREUTH / flower / (intertwined initials) JS" Playing accessories: a reed and cord. (Heike Fricke, 2014)
