Udu — Frank Giorgini

Frank Giorgini studied the making and playing techniques of the udu drum in Zaria, Nigeria. This instrument is produced in a manner similar to the Nigerian instruments. This instrument is played by slapping the palm of the right hand against the small openien. The seated player varies the pitch by pressing the hole of the large end against the left thigh.
