The duduk of Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Turkey (düdük) are duct flutes but in Armenia and Georgia the term refers to a double-reed instrument. In Turkey, the düdük (sometimes called dilli kaval) has seven equidistant fingerholes and thumbhole and is used as solo instrument or to accompany dances with other instruments.
