Untitled (Four Figures) — Nicolas Carone

Carone was an influential artist in the downtown New York art scene. As an advisor to Eleanor Ward, he made the Stable Gallery the site of the annual display of recent art, a practice that originated with the “Ninth Street Show” in 1951.
