清/現代 楊逸 蒼松圖 摺扇|Pine — Yang Yi

Yang Yi, a member of the literati circle of painters in Shanghai, was a calligrapher and poet as well as a painter. He was particularly skilled in Han clerical script (li shu). The compact clusters of bluntly stroked needles in this pine show his calligraphic training. He writes in his inscription that the pine is done in the style of Daoji (1642–1707).
