Fragment of a Frieze with Repeating Phrase, "Sovereignty is God's" — Unknown

Found at the Tepe Madrasa part of the Nishapur site, this panel was believed by the excavators to have adorned the façade of the area’s large mosque. Compared to a bowl that has the same inscription (38.40.118), the writing on this panel is more angular and less fluid.
