Bath accessories are handy for beautifying the body after it has been scrubbed and cleaned. Cosmetic cases, perfume bottles, and combs were brought to the hammam by owners to help them dress as they turned attention to their appearance. This comb includes inscriptions on both sides, which wish its owner luck. One side features the phrase “Everlasting Glory,” which continues on the other side “and Prosperity.”
