probably 11th century · Stonepaste; carved, transparent greenish glaze · Islamic Art

Aside from the streak of turquoise-colored glaze down one side of the exterior, this seems to be a close imitation of Chinese porcelain. It bears minute carved notches at the rim, and the wall is so thin that it is actually translucent.
