Bowl — Unknown

The convention of a bird with a twig or leaf in its mouth is known also in Sasanian art, but the manner of the drawing of the bird, including protuberances on the leaf and the bird's legs, is typical of Samanid Nishapur. The flourishes of the inscription are also typical.
