Vibrant colored enamels (meenakari) ornament both sides of this kanthla, or necklace with fan shaped pendants. While the front is a deep blue color, the verso depicts red and green floral motifs on a white ground. Encrusted also with gemstones in a kundan gold setting, the forms and techniques of this necklace are typical of 18–19th century Jaipur.
