Mina'i Bowl with Abstract Pattern — Unknown

Some objects glazed with the mina'i technique bear nonfigural decoration. The design on this bowl consists entirely of an abstract repeat pattern. Because of the painterly quality with which it is executed, this pattern looks something like mosaic glass. On the exterior, an inscription in Arabic bears good wishes to its owner.
