Saint George and the Dragon — Unknown

Originally made for the interior of Saint Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, this sculpture was removed during renovations in the early nineteenth century. The saint's body armor, an important transitional type known only from period illustrations and works of art, is protrayed very accurately.
