Pride and Folly, from a Series of Tazza Designs — Theodor de Bry

In the central medallion, a portrait of a jester in profile (facing right) merged with an upside down head of a satyr, framed by a circular ornamental frieze with scenes including the Whore of Babylon and the Temptation of Adam and Eve, as well as a peacock and a series of demons and grotesques. From a series of four designs for ornamented tazza, or drinking vessels.
