Ornamental frieze with a bird with out-stretched wings at center, surrounded by foliate scrolls. The bird is upright and its head faces left. From a series of six plates with horizontally hatched backgrounds. According to Berliner, the backgrounds of the plates in this series were further darkened at a later date.
