Design for a period style, Louis XVI desk (bureau) rendered in perspective. The design is characterized by four slender baluster-shaped legs. It has two drawers on the front side and a mask in the shape of a lion's head as an ornament on the sides. The desk top appears to have been clad in green leather. The measurements for the desk are given (H x W x D = 0.77m x 1.40m x 0.70m) and an inscription identifies the wood as ebony with bronze ornaments.
