Although intended for ceremonial use, this dagger features discretely carved talismanic inscriptions of the kind found on arms and armor that were designed for battle. It bears a gold inlaid vase with flowers on both sides of the blade. Within the vase are Arabic inscriptions reading "Blessings from Allah" and "Victory from Allah."
