Horizontal Panel Design with a Male Figure and a Lion Interspersed between Acanthus Rinceaux — Polifilo Giancarli|Anonymous, Italian, Venetian, 17th century

Design for a horizontal panel filled with a meandering acanthus rinceau. On the right side a male figure with a shield, whose lower body consists of acanthus leaves, attacks a lion (depicted in the center). Below them, there is a fantastical creature with the body of a snake and a llama-like head.
