Boxed Valentine's Day Card — Anonymous, British, late 18th century

White rectangular box with decorative print in blue ink. In the middle the words ' Forget me not' are printed. The box contains a card with a raised, cut-open paper frame surrounding a scrap portrait of a young woman.
