ca. 1930s · Watercolor with metallic inks over graphite on wove paper · Drawings and Prints

Design for a two-piece female costume, made up of a V-neck top with long sleeves and a skirt in black and gold. The top is decorated with a green lozenge, which holds three golden strips which are also tied to the skirt. Another lozenge decorates the right hip of the skirt. A scarf, also colored with black and gold, is wrapped tightly around the head. An orange earring of semi-abstract shape hangs from the right ear; a tassel earring made up of a golden sphere and green strips hangs from the left.
