Nude Figure — Alfred George Stevens

Stevens, who drew his inspiration from Michelangelo, was one of the finest figure draftsmen in Britain during the nineteenth century. This drawing may have been a preliminarty sketch for "Vision," part of a series of decorations the artist carried out in the east end of Christ Church, Sosway Street, Marylebone.
