Hunting Sword — Johann Georg Klett

The bloodstone grip is signed by Johann Georg Klett, who was appointed court stone carver to Friedrich August II (reigned 1733–63), prince-elector of Saxony, in 1755. Klett is also known to have made hard-stone snuffboxes.
