Lance Head — Unknown

The skillfully chiseled fluting patterns on the socket of this lance head are characteristic of Mamluk iron work and can be seen on Mamluk ax and mace shafts, and other lance heads. The long lance was one of the prime weapons of Mamluk cavalrymen.
