Translucent blue green. Tubular rim folded over and in, with bulging outer edge; lop-sided with wall tapering downward, shallow on one side, deeper on the other, and then broad sloping underside; applied solid flaring base ring, with diagonal tooled marks on upper surface; almost flat bottom. Intact; some large and pinprick bubbles; slight dulling, patches of brownish weathering and iridescence. Platters, dishes, and shallow bowls were common items among the glass tableware of Roman households.
