Glass network mosaic bowl fragment

Rim fragment. Translucent blue, opaque white, and colorless. Applied coil rim with vertical rounded lip; slightly tapering side. Rim in blue with white spiral thread; body decorated with sixteen colorless vertical narrow canes, decorated with double spiral white threads. Pinprick bubbles; exterior polished, with pitting of surface bubbles; dulling and creamy iridescence weathering on interior; jagged, weathered edges. The join between the two ends of the coil rim is clearly visible towards the right end of the fragment.
