Glass mosaic fragment — Unknown

Thin-walled body fragment. Translucent purple, cobalt blue, honey yellow, turquoise blue, opaque white and yellow, and colorless. Very shallow convex curving side. Composite mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of four or more canes: three very similar in a purple ground surrounding a circular cluster of blue, yellow, or colorless rods outlined in white, yellow, and white respectively; a fourth cane in turquoise blue with a yellow spiral, and part of a fifth cane in a purple ground with a white circle. Polished exterior; pitting of surface bubbles; dulling, pitting, and iridescent weathering on interior and edges.
