Glass monochrome inlay fragment
Unknown
1st half of 1st century CE · Glass · Greek and Roman Art

Opaque jade green. Flat inlay with one straight side and a rounded end with beveled, chipped edge. Polished upper side; pitting of surface bubbles on upper side; dulling and creamy iridescent weathering on underside and edges. Probably part of a revetment panel, although in color it matches the bowl fragment (91.1.1631) also displayed here,
