Bronze statuette of Pan
Unknown
late 5th–4th century BCE · Bronze · Greek and Roman Art

The figure is shown with a phorbeia, the band worn by flautists. The articulation of his body raises the question as to whether this is a representation of Pan or of a performer wearing caprine attributes on his legs and head.
