Bronze handle of an oinochoe (jug)

The top of the handle is decorated with the head of a lion, the bottom with the head of a panther skin. The choice of motifs juxtaposes a living with a skinned animal. It also places the three-dimensional and two-dimensional renderings where they are most appropriate for the vase shape.
