This rendering of a scheme suggested for Christ Church, Brooklyn, shows the firm's skillful interpretation of Gothic forms--from architectural features, such as groin vaults and clerestory, to decorative elements, including pointed arches, elaborate tracery, and stained-glass medallion and lancet windows. The drawing is signed by J. A. Holzer, who, in his capacity as designer for ecclesiastical projects, created some of the firm's most splendid interiors during the 1890s.
