Glass mosaic inlay — Unknown

Semi-opaque cobalt blue ground; decoration in opaque white, yellow, red, and greyish green. Square, thin, flat plaque, with slightly beveled edges. Symmetrical lotus and palmette motif arranged around a central compressed four-petaled rosette, with a large palmette at each corner with double spiral volutes forming a frame to a small distorted lotus flower on each side. Broken and repaired with small holes and cracks; upper side ground and polished; pitted surface bubbles, weathering on edges and back. Square, many colored; leaves and spirals.
