Glass jar — Unknown

Translucent purple; handles in same color. Rim folded out, round, and in; funnel-shaped neck; indented shoulder; squat globular body; kick in bottom with trace of pontil; four rod handles, applied as if in pairs to each side, with large pads on upper body, drawn up and outward, then tooled in horizontally, and trailed off on edge of rim. Complete but one crack in rim and neck; pinprick and a few larger bubbles; severe pitting, iridescence, and thick brownish weathering.
