Peitho (the personification of persuasion), Aphrodite, and Eros These three figures belonged to a representation of either the Judgement of Paris or Menelaos reclaiming his wife, Helen, at Troy. At this time, large skyphoi were favored for elaborate mythological decorations, especially by painters around Douris and Makron. The ladies are exceptionally grand and statuesque.
