Gold amulet
Unknown
probably 6th–4th century BCE · Gold · Greek and Roman Art

The figures' arms are shown clasped over their apparently nude chests; the rib cage is emphasized front and back. The lower body is covered with a long, close-fitting garment that reveals their genitals. The meaning of the figures is unclear, but the objects have attachments loops on the back. Their size and appearance suggests a connection to the amulet cases (74.51.3315, .3321).
