Limestone statue of Apollo
Unknown
ca. 3rd–1st century BCE · Limestone · Greek and Roman Art

The figure can be identified as the god Apollo. His hairstyle, with a knot above the forehead, is that of Apollo Lykeios, and he carries a kithara (lyre) in his left arm, although now only part of the instrument survives.
