Limestone warrior
Unknown
mid- to 3rd quarter of the 6th century BCE · Limestone · Greek and Roman Art

Egyptian and Greek features are melded in this figure. He wears the Egyptian kilt with a modified Greek helmet; the soft rounded forms that hug the head leave unclear whether the helmet is made of metal. The articulation of musculature, particularly in the arms, is a further indication of Greek influence.
