Terracotta oil lamp — Unknown

Loeschcke Type 4. Mold-made, with ring handle. Plain, shallow concave discus; a single filling hole at center and with a thick raised circle at edge of discus, joining back of volutes and forming a narrow channel along top of nozzle. On sloping shoulder, a pattern of impressed ovules around inner edge. Volutes flanking nozzle. Impressed ring base, and a slightly concave base. Intact.
