Seated Eros
Unknown
3rd century BCE · Terracotta · Greek and Roman Art

The figurine is mold-made and hollow. The back from the level of the chest down, the right leg, the left wing, and most of the left arm are missing. The original pose of the nude figure would have been similar to that of the seated boy, accession number 74.51.1604, but with the legs stretched further toward the viewer's left.
