Terracotta jug — Unknown

The decoration consists of a bird with a lotos flower that appears to grow from between the wings and an arrow directed upward. Although all of the motifs are frequent on Cypro-Archaic vases in various combinations, the meaning is unknown, The effect, however, is decorative thanks especially to the masterful placement of the bird over the bulbous body of the jug.
