This sample is of Associated Artists’ silk brocade water-lily fabric in a second colorway. Little is known about the number of colors in which specific fabrics were produced. A few patterns were printed in numerous colors on a variety of ground fabrics. Other less popular designs may have been available in only one or two shades.
