The quilt top is pieced of cotton calicos: two different pink fabrics, two different yellow fabrics, and one blue fabric. The backing has a beige background Floral print of definite twentieth-century character. The binding is yellow calico. The bed cover is quilted overall in a diamond pattern, except for the outer pink border, which is rope quilted. Aside from the quilting, the piece is almost entirely machine stitched.
