The top of this white quilt is made of tightly woven cotton, while the backing fabric is of a coarser woven cotton. The tape binding is probably handwoven. The decoratively patterned areas are stuffed with wool. The piece is quilted with a central squared medallion that has a pineapple at each of the four corners. The feather-vine border terminates in the mid-point of each of the four sides with a flower tied with a bow.
