Curtain — Unknown

A proper Arts and Crafts home, as prescribed by manufacturers and tastemakers like Gustav Stickley, would have interiors decorated from top to bottom in the style, including the furniture, light fixtures, and window treatments. The single linen curtain seen here once belonged to a larger set of eight. The stylized pine tree suited the movement’s affinity for motifs derived from nature.
