Fratelli Toso
ca. 1900 · Glass, metal cap · European Sculpture and Decorative Arts

The Museum has a considerable collection of Venetian nineteenth-century millefiori and other wares, recreating first century Roman glass. This piece, however, is remarkable for its small scale. One of the canes—a cock's head in profile—is an emblem of Murano.
