Moulinet
John Le Sage
1739–40 · Silver, wood · European Sculpture and Decorative Arts

This piece is unusual, as the stirrers for chocolate pots were usually wood. The wooden handle extension is modern. The twirler called a molinillo, was invented in Spain in the sixteenth century.
